can a bad EMC cause my dodge intrepid to lope, Drop into low gear when i stop too fast?

I did and they said replace the tranny, so I replaced the tranny with another one, and it still does it.

Agree with tennisshoe,if the ECM is bad it would shoot alot of code,s,,go have it checked.
