my gear shifter is getting stiff, can I spray some WD40 in it?

just noticed getting stiffer to shift, anything I can do? transmission fluid is ok

You can spray WD40 on it and it might make it looser for a couple of days. Try some real oil or white lithium grease for longer lasting lubrication.
