How much should I ask for a 1970 C10, if only good for parts?

Asked by Ragen May 01, 2012 at 10:35 PM about the 1970 Chevrolet C/K 10

Question type: General

Truck will run with a little work, but in pretty bad condition.  Been sitting for awhile and has a lot of rust.
Someone has asked to buy it for the parts, but I have no idea how much it is worth...

Long or short wheelbase makes a big difference in pricing, especially if the bad is decent and usable for a short... and even the frame for the sort is worth more... Cab parts are getting expensive now days and some dash parts are hard to find... original Engine parts are hard to find also... brackets, mounts, etc.... about the cheapest I've seen for a running 'junker/rust bucket' with good parts, short wheel, was $ 800.
