Question type: Maintenance & Repair

is it possible the petcock loosened itself a month or two after loosening it up to replace fluids?

Possible but not likely IF it was tightened properly to begin with.

Thanks Full_of_Regrets, Im hoping that is what the issue is.. just arrived to work to find out my fluid spilling out all over.. seems to be coming from that area. wont be able to look closer or attempt to fix it for another 5 hrs.

Check your radiator hoses for leaks while you are at it. Keep a close eye on the temperature gauge and if it starts to rise at all, pull over, let it cool off and add coolant.

I was able to check the uppermost hose, that one is in good condition. ill check the rest after work. Thanks so much for all the help. Hope you have happy holidays.

The bottom hoses are the ones that always go bad it seems. Out of sight, out of mind. Have a great Christmas!
