I have a 2001 Ford Escape with 62000 miles. When I went to turn on the heater%2C the fan was not blowing. What does this mean%3F How expensive a repair%3F

First check the fuses. The blower motor has a resister in line that could have failed. The fan is also twelve years old and it could be failing due to short brushes. It would need replacement.

try the fan on high speed if it works on high only then you have a bad resistor. if not take tenspeeds advice.
