Chrysler PT Cruiser Forum : “i lock anti theft system on my 2001 PT Cruiser not working”

i lock anti theft system on my 2001 PT Cruiser not working

HELP!  Just replaced the transmission on this car.  Car came with an i lock anti-theft system where you place a blue "Chip" against a small black round piece to be able to start the car.  Makes a double "beep" sound to let you know you can start the car.  The car will not start and there is no beep-beep sound.  I cannot find i lock anywhere on line and don't know what to do!  Car purchased in CA 5 years ago.  Can anyone help?  Thank you.
