cant shut hood

Where the hood connects to the bottom there is a latch you can push down with your finger or a screw driver you can free up the latch so your hood can close.

2001 Chrysler Concorde can't open up the hood the latch is broken inside my car how can I open it from outside can not find Americanism in front
