If its a manual trans check the safety switch on the clutch pedal. Might be out of adjustment. Some also have a small rubber stopper that tends to fall off causing pedal not to press switch properly. If auto trans check neutral safety switch. Are all battery terminals clean and tight? Is the negative battery connections on the frame and motor clean and tight?

Not getting fuel? Might be time to check the fuel pump. My '01 Ranger fuel pump went out at 98000 miles. Same symptoms, cranked like crazy, but no ignition.

Is it ceased I just went through the same thing only to find out that my motor was ceased because something that supplies oil to the motor ( skinnier than a pen ) broke wich you can't notice and then it ceased while driving and wouldn't start I went through alternator battery starter etc and nothing just clicked when went to start it

if it wont turn over it sounds as if something is stopping it like something lodged inside the motor .
