Appraisal $ for estate inventory

I am trying to determine a value of a 1957 Mercedes Benz SL 190 conv. that my deceased father restored completely. It is white with red interior in excellent condition and am finding prices for these cars listed for sale very wide spread. I need a value $ for the preliminary inventory for his estate and cannot find anyone in Colorado qualified to appraise this vehicle.  Can you help me?  I am not interested in selling this car but I need an approximate value.

You really need a qualified appraiser like you said but here is a guide for you from NADA Guides. I don't know if you know if it or not but it is the most respected guide for classic car prices and is constantly updated. They have the average condititon car going at about $38,000 and a pristine show car at about $59,000

Here is a link but you need to cut and paste it in. Hope this helps.
