im trying to drop my 85' LTD and dont have a clue how about to do it, anyone know a good way?

do like everyone else does,heat front coils,remove leaf springs from rear,or do it right buy 2 inch lowering coil springs for front and 3 inch lowering blocks for rear,have a mechanic install all parts.
