Am I able to remove the dash mounted cup holder by removing 2 screws on the side of the center dash?

The cupholder seems to be in the way and I rarely use it.

I believe this is all that is required to remove the cupholder in this vehicle.

That is all that is required.  If you decide to sell it, visit www.northamericanmotoring.com and post in the classifieds sections.  The anthracite cup holders are getting a little more money than the silver cupholders.

Depending on the build date, there may also be a bunch of double-sided tape holding it on, too.  You'll need to yank on it a bit to pull it off after removing the screws.  You can remove the tape with lacquer thinner or something like it to remove an adhesive residue.

Be careful with the Lacquer thinner, as the surface is painted and you can strip some of it away.  Try something like regular
rubbing alcohol, and work your way through the adhesive residue.
