Mercury emblem on trunk lid?

I just bought a 63 comet and i noticed on the trunk lid it says Mercury Comet on the right side. On the left side, it has 2 broke off rivets that look like it said something because the original paint is faded around what looks like lettering. Did it say anything else? Or was it just somethin from the dealer? Any ideas?

Shouldn't be anything on the right, most likely just a dealer tag.
