Ford Galaxie Forum : “67 Galaxie steering colum wire”

67 Galaxie steering colum wire

I have a 67 Galaxie auto/289. My problem is I have a red wire with a post on the end of it that looks like it goes into a termial block, it comes directly out of the steering colum. There is a terminal block there but it;s not missing any wire on either side of it.I cannot figure out where this goes? The wire is about 4" long.I have not noticed it hanging before. I'm not sure if it,s related but my turn signals just stopped working.
