how would you tell if the 360 in a Gremlin was a chrysler or a amc . and would a 1977 that is in good shape and sounds great be worth 7900$

amc's blocks have the size(360 in this case) cast into the block behind the motor mounts. I don't know about Chrysler. As for the price I wouldn't pay that much for a Gremlin unless it was immaculate and still not sure I would even then.
