I have a renault laguna 1995 2litre, replaced cylinder head and put a new belt on now car does not rev above 3000rpms and doesnt idle smoothly. Any ideas on why this is would be very helpful.

there could be a number of things" such as an air leak . have the valves been seated properly? Has the timingbelt been set properly? finally on the91/onwards they have a genuine electrical fault"?? or it could be simply fule starvation?
