i have a 1971 ford torino, the right rear signal light works with the turn signal but does not work with brakews or emergency flasher

Check connections in bulb socket. With age they tend to have corrosion build up causing a bad connection. Cleaning contact points and using bulb lube might help. If duel element bulb check that one of the elements is not blown. Also check socket for proper voltage with blinkers on.
