My 65 corvair 140 HP conv. has a droning from the exhaust. I recently installed 2 new baffled mufflers with 2in. headers. It still drones. Any help?

Look for some contact with the header or muffler. Vibration could make this noise.

Thanks James. I'll look for that. I've also read where I should install a crossover pipe between the two pipes.

I never experienced a drone without one. But the engine ran better with it and the sound was not as harsh.
