i have a groaning/ steering colum

steering is hard on the turn..fluid is full in power steering reserve...fluid leaking off hose around steering colium

Pump is blown. The #1 issue with the 1980's FJ's is weak PS pumps. Easy fix, plug and play new pump.

BTW: i keep two "lifetime warranty" PS pumps on hand, one on the truck, one spare (swap and return as needed) for my FJ60.
