Anybody Interested In a Fairey Overdrive that fits all 3 speed Land Cruiser Transfercases

Asked by 85yodablu Jul 12, 2012 at 01:04 AM about the 1958 Toyota Land Cruiser

Question type: General

Will fit into any Toyota Land Cruiser built between 1958 and 1973 with stock 3 speed transfer cases. Bolts into back opening where mainshaft enters transfercase. Besides the overdive will include the tools needed to install overdrive. Has original service manual. This unit is complete and worked when last installed. Doubles all gears in both high and low ranges. Gives a 27% increase which basically gives you a gear inbetween each gear plus a gear like overdrive.. Allows you to drive at freeway speeds without over reving engine. Asking $550 obo.  Original cost $850 new. Call between 8AM to 8PM PST 360-904-1032 Will ship via your choice. Weighs close to 100 lbs.
