I KNOW A GUT THAT IS NOTORIUOS FOR LYING ABD HE SAID HE HAD A 75 TRANS AM THAT HE BEEFED UP AND IT HAS A 400 IN IT BUT ONLY PUSHES 225 HORSEPOWER  WITHOUT NITROUS OR NOS COULD IT RUN  MID 10'S IN THE QUARTER

actually it would probably run closer to 15's because the power to weight is crazy on that the trans am's of the 70's were not all that light so i call bull shit on your friend and tell him if its that fast to take you to the track to prove his time because my 1976 trans am has a 400 in it but iam pushing over 350 horse power and the last time i ran it was when i was at 350 horse power and it ran 14.4 at the track and now iam probably running mid to late 13's

He is full of bullshit...The car will do mid 15s on a good day with 225hp...It would take over 550 horsepower set up for dragracing to do 10s in the quater mile.

We used to eat those guys for lunch with my friend's 327 4speed 68 beat up chevy truck and we could only run into 14s on 1/4 mile -- so much fun!!
