Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Thank you all in advance. I drive Nissan Tiida, 2006 model. I went for short
drive, like 30 minutes, but the fan motor started melting the plastic shroud
holding it and the fan. What could be the cause?

I would check for recalls or get ahold of manufacture that's a relitivly new car to be having a problem like that Have you been under the hood doing any modifications?

Not common but it does happen, you have a defective motor it locked up causing over heating of the motor, be thankful that's all that burnt-out. Check the condition of the wires before installing the fan assembly....
