When I start my car there is a constant clicking sound and my car gets hot but does not overheat...any clue as to what it can be?

I got my head gaskst replaced a month ago... and ever since I have had this clicking or rattling noise from my car and it get hot but hasen't overheated...one day when I came up to a stop sign it stalled... I was also using my air conditioner at the time it stalled...I have not used my air conditioner since and it has not stalled...

Check the starter and the solenoid switch. Either one of those could be the source of the clicking. Also make sure that your battery if fully charged.
