Pros

- Great fuel economy...getting about 33-35 mpg (cruise control helps you get this far not by you stomping on gas pedal)
- Style has a twist to it, yes it is more of like a lifted impreza; however, its more of a bit shorter and comfortable for a couple w/1kid...not for 2 or 3+.

Cons

- Power is the main problem; however, can't blame the power if an AWD can perform above 33+mpg.

Great Value And Gas Mileage But At A Cost Of Performance — The unique color of orange aside from the other bland colors makes it an eye-catcher. The style and size of the vehicle also helps you realize that you're not getting a heavy clunky SUV that requires a V6 or V8, but the XV Crosstrek tells you, "I can perform at SUV-levels with greater gas mileage but at cost of performance and size." Subaru has done a great job with the XV Crosstrek but I do favor to ask them to bring the diesel model/version as that would catch a lot of hype/attention. Ability to quickly maneuver out of a near crash saved me as the person to the side of me was on their phone and drove into my lane. Quick brake and swerve into their lane avoiding them from hitting me saved me but that person quickly jerked into my lane. If I had my old Challenger, I'm sure I would of gotten hit as it doesn't have that quick reflex maneuverability that the XV had.

Pros

Tangerine Pearl color is pleasingly distinctive, accented by black moulding over weels and bumper, with great gas mileage and incredible reliability for an AWD Subaru

Cons

Clear trade-off of power for fuel efficiency

Ideal Small Suv And Daily Driver — Tons of fun to own and drive, excellent braking and handling only slightly offset by low power and less than racing standard accelerations. Overall an incredible car provided racing or showboating isn't part of a daily drive. Very straightforward interior with great functionality set off perfectly by basic black and red themed displays

Pros

Quirky, rugged, good on gas. Excellent adventure vehicle.

Cons

Needs power seat with lumbar adjustment,

Needs a stronger engine that is naturally aspirated for easier highway merging

If You Are The Outdoorsy Type, Consider This Car. — Adequate acceleration. Very Fuel Efficient 2L Engine that is very willing to get going. AWD keeps you safe in any weather condition. Tried out on gravel road. Appearance: Very rugged looking, some people like it, its all personal preference. Car is very nimble. Has great road appearance, SUV like height.

Pros

Great power/handling. Love the Dessert Khaki color. Base model comes well equipped with some nice options. Great gas milage.

Cons

Bluetooth so-so. CVT transmission sounds strange, but works great.

Love The Subaru Crosstrek — Want a great little AWD that gets good gas milage and is known to be dependable, buy a XV - awesome little car! Radio is the one thing you might want to upgrade in the Premium model. Other than that well equipped, fun driver.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Amazing Car To Drive! — This is an amazing vehicle! I have owned this for about 6 months now and I am very pleased with it. Ride and Comfort were big on my list, and it has exceeded my expectations! And I can not complain about the fuel economy when I am filling my tank about every 10 days instead of every 4-5 with my last car! This is my third Subaru and I will never own anything other than Subaru!

Basically A Lifted Impreza — I like the look and it made it a little bit younger, kinda in between the super sexy sport sti wrx and the family wagon. It has some space for cargo and people, but it not too square and boring like an old person outback, etc.
