Pros

Well built overall

Cons

Horrible anti-lock brakes on icy roads compared to other cars with ABS.

Well Built Car If Not A Little Expensive For The Ex-l Trim — Nice car overall. Honda generally doesn't go on the cheap for anything, but you do pay for it. Maybe I just got ripped off by my dealer, because I saw my same car elsewhere for $2000 less a few months after I bought mine. The one really bad issue with it is the way the ABS performs on icy roads. It is designed to over-emphasize being able to steer the car as opposed to actually stopping the car. This is my third car with ABS brakes and it is a really bad "feature" of this Honda CR-V. Go online and you will see thousands of others complaining about this.

Excellent Overall Empty Nester Car — Typical Honda reliability. I particularly like the AWD feature. Even though we are in Florida, it definitely gives a sure-footed ness in heavy rain and crosswind conditions. I anticipate it would be super in icy or snowy situations as well. Great gas mileage! Even with the full-time AWD, we have gotten as high as 33.5 on road trips. About 27 in town. A/C in auto is quiet and draft-free. Love this car.

Pros

Liked exterior and interior features.

Cons

We have had continuing, intermittent problems with the engine not turning over when trying to start it.  We can detect no particular pattern.  It's as if the battery is dead.  However, usually have waiting a few minutes and pumping the gas, it eventually turns over.  We've had it into the dealer several times and when there, the problem does not occur so it never gets fixed.

Got A Lemon — Problems with starting Honda CRV. On a frequent, intermittent basis, the car engine will not turn over as if the battery is dead. There is no discernable pattern. I've had Hondas before and have never experienced something like this. It's as if we got a 'lemon'.

Pros

We just got a good deal from Dobbs Honda, so price, certification, and reliability.

Cons

Not enough drive leg room if you 6 feet plus

Sweet Little Suv — We have been looking for a while to upgrade from a nineteen ninety four Toyota Corolla and this CR-V was in great shape and a good deal for a certified vehicle. I hope we have it for at least fifteen years.

Pros

High mpg - averaging 26mpg / 35mph on the open highway. Solid build, lots of cargo for class, plenty of leg room in back seat. Solid build with lots safety features. Great acceleration for passing other vehicles.

Cons

Steering is sensitive, may just be a learning curve for me.

Outstanding Cuv In Class — Great handling for a "small" CUV. I average 26mpg and on the highway actually get 35mpg. The roominess of the back seat is incredible. "Power"? Yes this car accelerates very well and no trouble passing other vehicles. Build quality is top notch. I definitely feel safe. There is plenty of room in the back seat for "tall" folks to sit comfortably. Cargo space is comparable to other CUV this size. Overall safety, performance and fuel economy put this vehicle at the top of my list. I LOVE driving it!
