Overview of 2012 Toyota Tundra Tundra-Grade 5.7L 4WD By Michael Perkins
If you’re serious about needing a truck with all the skills and none of the frills, the 2012 Toyota Tundra Tundra-Grade 5.7L 4WD trim is your best bet in a Tundra. With the 5.7-liter V8 and a 2-speed transfer case, you’ll get the full hauling potential of the Tundra: 10,400 pounds. Thankfully you’ll also get trailer-sway control, front tow hooks and traction and stability control. There’s a limited-slip differential out back, and cloth upholstery inside for the front split bench seat. The steering wheel tilts but won’t telescope, and there are dual-zone manual climate controls to keep things comfortable. A CD/MP3 player is included and comes with a digital media connection. 18-inch wheels hide assisted 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, and 8 standard airbags round out the safety features.
This overview covers the Tundra-Grade 5.7L 4WD trim only.
