Starting with the 2012 Toyota Tundra Tundra-Grade 4.0L trim you’ll get a V6 engine paired with a 5-speed automatic. Towing and hauling aren’t the focus here, but you’ll still get trailer-sway control as well as a limited-slip differential and traction and stability control. Dual-zone manual climate controls and a CD/MP3 player are the only comfort and convenience features, but the Tundra still comes with a tilt steering wheel, digital-media player connection and chrome bumpers for some style. 18-inch wheels hide 4-wheel antilock discs with assist, and a theft-deterrent system comes standard.
