Overview of 2012 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax 5.7L 4WD By Michael Perkins
With 4WD and all the trimmings, the 2012 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax 5.7L 4WD has luxury and utility – allowing you to drive over stuff in style. As the 2-speed transfer case works hard to pull from the front tow hooks or the trailer hitch, you’ll be sitting on a heated leather bucket seat with 10-way power, while your passenger enjoys 4-way power mobility. A JBL sound system has a 6-CD changer, MP3 playback, Bluetooth and satellite radio, as well as a USB port, and the power package includes heated power mirrors with integrated signals. A tilt and telescoping steering wheel has audio controls, and front and rear obstacle detection systems keep you from running over unwanted obstructions. Fog lights sit below a color-keyed front bumper, as opposed to the chrome unit on lesser Tundras. Dual-zone automatic climate controls make sure everyone is comfortable, and a limited-slip differential makes sure everyone is safe with the help of traction, stability and trailer-sway controls. There are 8 airbags standard for every Tundra, including front knee, as well as 4-wheel antilock discs.
This overview covers the Limited CrewMax 5.7L 4WD trim only.
