Though its title sounds rather insipid, Toyota’s 2012 Sienna LE 7-Passenger minivan is distinguished by a variable-valve-timed (VVT) V6 powerplant and standard all-wheel drive (AWD). The 266-hp 3.5-liter V6 combines with a 6-speed shiftable automatic for 245 lb-ft of torque, good enough to tow 3,500 pounds of trailer with the proper equipment. Mileage, meanwhile, is estimated at 17 mpg city/23 highway. The AWD system is anchored by a center limited-slip differential and provides full-time power to all wheels.
Three rows of seating and 150 cubic feet of cargo area are this lower mid-level mini’s stock in trade, but that’s not all it has to offer. Expect 18-inch alloy wheels, a roof rack and a rear spoiler to grace the Sienna LE 7-Passenger’s exterior, while premium cloth upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and front and second-row reclining captain’s chairs adorn the interior.
