The 2012 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited opens the automaker up to some criticism. Reviewers like its turbocharged version of the base 4-cylinder engine and the punch from its 265 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The problem in their eyes is that the 2.5 GT comes only with a manual transmission, which cuts out a segment of the driving population.

The 2.5GT, the sportiest of the Legacy lineup, also gets a sunroof, a hood scoop, leather upholstery, special interior trim and 18-inch alloy wheels with summer tires.
