2012 Nissan Versa 1.6 SV Trim Overview

Redesigned for 2012, the Nissan Versa 1.6 SV Sedan comes equipped with a number of features not found in the entry-level Versa 1.6 S trim, including remote keyless entry, power windows and door locks, a trip computer, cruise control and upgraded cloth upholstery. Other standard features for the 5-passenger 1.6 SV include air conditioning, a 6-way manually adjustable driver's seat, a tilt steering column, an upgraded trip computer and a 4-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with an auxiliary input jack. The 1.6 SV's open, airy cabin also receives Fine Vision electroluminescent gauges and silver trim accents on the dash, vents and steering wheel. Outside, the 1.6 SV Sedan displays an updated exterior design, with Nissan's new signature V-shaped chrome-accented grille, as well as jewel-like halogen headlights, power side mirrors and chrome door handles.

Under the hood, Nissan drops a new 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine, which incorporates such cutting-edge technologies as dual injectors for each cylinder and a twin Continuously Variable Timing Control (CVTC) system. The engine generates 109 hp and 107 lb-ft of torque, and mates to an Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). Fuel economy numbers check in at 30/38 mpg. Six airbags come standard, along with Vehicle Dynamic Control, traction control and a tire pressure monitoring system. The front-wheel-drive Versa 1.6 SV Sedan rides on 15-inch steel wheels with all-season tires.
