2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR Trim Overview

The Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR receives four new options packages for 2012 and includes a number of exterior features not found on other Sentra trims. Outside, the Sentra 2.0 SR displays such sporty design features as a sport grille, unique front and rear fascias, and a rear spoiler, as well as sport headlights and taillights. Inside the 5-passenger cabin, such features as air conditioning, remote keyless entry, cruise control, a 60/40-split fold-flat rear seat, a tilt steering wheel and power windows and door locks come standard. A Convenience Package adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth and Nissan's Intelligent Key keyless entry and ignition system, while a Technology Package includes a navigation system with a 5-inch color touchscreen, SiriusXM satellite radio, NavTraffic and a USB port. A Moonroof Package, available only for the 2.0 SR, features a power sliding/tilt moonroof, while a Special Edition Package, also available only on the 2.0 SR, incorporates all three of the other packages.

Power for the front-wheel-drive Sentra 2.0 SR comes from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, which develops 140 hp and 147 lb-ft of torque. The engine mates to an Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) and posts fuel economy numbers of 27/34 mpg. Antilock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist come standard, along with traction control, stability control, daytime running lights and 6 airbags. The standard package for the Sentra 2.0 SR also includes 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
