2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S Trim Overview

The 5-passenger Nissan Sentra 2.0 S compact car comes equipped with a number of standard features not on the entry-level Sentra 2.0 trim, including cruise control, remote keyless entry, overhead map lights, an outside temperature display, a trip computer and 2 more speakers for the AM/FM/CD audio system. In addition, the 2.0 S includes all the basic features, such as air conditioning, power windows and door locks, a 60/40-split fold-flat rear seat and a tilt steering wheel. Nissan also offers two new options packages for the 2012 Sentra 2.0 S. A Convenience Package adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth and the automaker's Intelligent Key keyless entry and ignition system, while a Technology Package includes a navigation system with a 5-inch color touchscreen, SiriusXM satellite radio, NavTraffic and a USB port. Outside, standard features for the Sentra 2.0 S include power-adjustable side mirrors, a chrome trunk lid finisher and a rear spoiler with an integrated LED brake light.

Under the hood, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine provides power for the front-wheel-drive Sentra 2.0 S. The engine generates 140 hp and 147 lb-ft of torque, and links to an Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). Fuel economy numbers check in at 27/34 mpg. Antilock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist come standard, along with traction control, stability control, daytime running lights and 6 airbags. The Sentra 2.0 S rides on 16-inch steel wheels.
