Overview of 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C350 4MATIC By R. Feeman

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C350 4Matic comes equipped with a number of interior and exterior improvements, as well as an updated powerplant. The new 3.5-liter V6 generates 302 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, and drives the C350 from 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. The engine links to a 7-speed automatic transmission with the Touch Shift manual-shift feature. Fuel economy numbers check in at 20/29 mpg, thanks in part to a new ECO start/stop feature, which automatically shuts off the engine at stop lights or when idling to conserve fuel. The C350 4Matic comes equipped with the automaker's 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, which maximizes stability and handling on all types of road surfaces. An electronic stability control system, antilock brakes, brake assist, rain-sensing windshield wipers and 9 airbags are among the other standard safety features. Mercedes also includes a new Attention Assist feature, which alerts drivers if they're becoming drowsy.

Exterior updates include restyled bumpers, headlights, taillights and a new aluminum hood. LED daytime running lights, a tilt/sliding sunroof and 17-inch wheels also come standard. Inside, the C350 4Matic receives a redesigned dashboard, restyled air vents, new controls and a new center console. A 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar support, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, HD radio, illuminated entry, a SmartKey remote controller and auto-dimming interior and driver's-side mirrors are among the other standard features. Mercedes also includes a 5.8-inch color LCD display for the audio system and other interior functions, accessed through steering-wheel-mounted controls.

This overview covers the C350 4MATIC trim only.
