Making its debut for 2012, the Mercedes-Benz C250 Luxury Sedan comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.8-liter 4-cylinder powerplant, which produces 201 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque. The engine powers the rear-wheel-drive C250 Luxury from 0-60 in 7.1 seconds and links to a 7-speed automatic transmission with the Touch Shift manual-shift feature. Fuel economy numbers check in at 21/31 mpg. Premium fuel is required. An electronic stability control system, antilock brakes, brake assist, rain-sensing windshield wipers and 9 airbags are among the other standard safety features. Attention Assist, which alerts drivers if they're becoming drowsy, also comes standard.
Outside, the C250 Luxury displays the design refresh given to all 2012 C-Class trims, which includes restyled bumpers, headlights, taillights and a new aluminum hood. LED daytime running lights, a power tilt/slide sunroof and 17-inch wheels also come standard. Inside, new C-Class features include a redesigned dashboard, restyled air vents with metallic trim, new controls with a metallic finish and a new center console, as well as a new leather-wrapped steering wheel with a chrome-plated central spoke. The C250 Luxury Sedan also comes standard with such features as an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat, Burl Walnut wood trim, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, HD radio, illuminated entry, a SmartKey remote controller and auto-dimming interior and driver's-side mirrors. Mercedes also adds a 5.8-inch color LCD display for the audio system and other interior functions, accessed through steering-wheel-mounted controls.
