2012 Mazda MAZDA3 i SV Trim Overview

The entry-level MAZDA3 i SV compact car receives updated exterior styling for 2012, with new front and rear bumpers, a redesigned front grille, and updated front headlights. Power comes from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, which generates 148 hp and 135 lb-ft of torque. The engine links to either a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive or a 5-speed electronically controlled Sport automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Logic and a manual-shift mode. Fuel economy numbers check in at 25/33 mpg with either transmission. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, as well as Dynamic Stability Control, traction control and antilock brakes with brake assist and electronic brakeforce distribution.
