Pros

The nicest all-around hybrid for urban use on the road, amazing interior, extraordinary fuel efficiency

Cons

It's not a high-performance sports car, but you knew that already

Superb Prius Alternative — Back in 2013, we closely evaluated hybrids/diesels for our next car purchase at that time. After evaluating the Ford CMax, the CT200h, Prius, and various VW TDIs, we ended up with a Passat TDI. A fine car in its own right, but the CT200h was a very close second for us. We moved into the city and had two cars, including that Passat. We traded them both for a CT200h and I can honestly say there is very little fault I can find with this fine vehicle. The build quality is superb, it handles well, is extremely attractive inside and out, it is a great size for people and cargo, and it is a great alternative to the proven technology of the Prius (it basically is a Prius mechanically.) It's not for everyone. Reviewers talk about performance - it looks like it ought to accelerate like a traditional sports car, but that's not what it is!

Elegant Styling That Won't Break Your Budget — The Lexus CT 200h offers an elegant, sporty ride for an affordable price. With a Prius engine, the fuel efficiency is much higher than others in its class. With the high fuel efficiency though, some will find the power and acceleration lacking. The electric engine is super quiet. The gas engine fires up instantly, as needed, with no discernible lag. The continuously variable transmission is smooth as silk. The seats on the base CT look and feel like leather, but surprisingly, they are not leather. True to form, Lexus has put careful thought into the finishing details of the interior. A great car for the money.

Luxury Hybrid By klb184

The obvious hybrid gas mileage is a huge plus, the cabin is very lush just like Lexus is known for and is very comfortable, it rides very smooth and has pretty good power for a hybrid engine. Overall ... Read More
