ProsGreat package/look. Handling on freeway driving and cornering is average, more truck like. I would compare the ride to a compact or midsize pickup. Off road capability is tremendous for the class. Backseat room for children in car seats is awesome front and rear facing. ConsSmall storage area beneath a already high cargo area. Seats are stiffer than most (I tend to enjoy this.) Only one cigarette lighter outlet. Power is there but freeway acceleration can lag slightly.

Great Styling, Less Of A "cute-ute" Than Others In Class — Overall this car has a great look and feel. The value was also amazing, was able to buy below dealer cost! The driving characteristics are very jeep like, which for me was great. If you prefer a SUV with better handling on the highway you compromise the amazing off-road capability this vehicle provides. It will not crawl as well as a wrangler but you get a more family oriented package with off-road capabilities that will beat most anything you will compare it to. Would have liked to have it mated to more than 4 gears, but it does shift through them very smoothly. Also the technology that it comes with for the price is a steal. Garmin GPS Nav, Homelink, Auto lights, Sat Radio, HDD Music Storage, and Sirius Travel Link are all bonuses. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
