2012 Hyundai Veloster, One Of The First 3000 — Great little car. It fits me and my wife perfectly, and our baby on the way will be able to fit in the backseat with ease! It's a fun car to drive, looks fast, but is far from.. 40+ mpg is where it's at though!

Great Looking Dependable Commuter Car — What I like best about this car is the great curb appeal from the new groovy and edgy body design which actual looks great from every angle you look at it. The interior is just as stylish as the exterior and they both complement each other. And you won't break the bank with the price to buy one!

Pros

Nice styling

Cons

Very lethargic... I test drove this vehicle to see how it felt in anticipation of the Veloster Turbo arriving.  The car couldn't get out of it's own way.

Nice Styling But Extremely Lacking In Power — I took a test drive of this car in anticipation of the Veloster Turbo. I wanted to get a sense of the handling and power in comparison because I was interested in purchasing a Veloster Turbo. The shifter was nice and the handling was OK but the power was severely lacking. I have to say though that the car look HOT

Veloster — I would wait for the turbo but it is still a great car. pretty peppy but still lacks on the hills. Great fuel economy and great looks. Its always fun driving this car. A great tech package is also standard

Pros

A head-turning design and BMW-quality interior make this a great choice for a young professional

Cons

A bit hard to see out the back when reversing and meager 138 horsepower could use some improvement

Fun, Stylish, Unconventional Hatch Has Good Looks But Only Average Performance — Performance: Really slow (I mean, about 7 seconds to 60 but still feels slow) but excellent handling (anti-roll bars front and rear) and great brakes Build Quality: Excellent, everything is really high quality (especially the leather bolstered cloth insert seats) except for the soft paint Appearance: Like nothing else on the road; I get stares and compliments wherever I go Cost of Ownership: Other than paying off the loan it's economical (getting 35 mpg), too new to tell yet though Fun Factor: This car is all about fun. The sliding glass panoramic roof and 450 watt sound system are amazing. The streaming bluetooth audio and calls are great, as is the fact that I can watch video on the touch screen from the USB port or the RCA cable. Also the ease of operation of all the controls make it fun and easy to drive.
