2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L Trim Overview

The 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L minivan comes equipped with a number of upscale features, including leather upholstery for the first two rows, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a power moonroof. The driver's seat features 10-way power adjustment, while the front passenger gets a 4-way power-adjustable seat. In addition, Honda includes a Cool Box chilled storage area located at the base of the front center stack, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. The EX-L gets SiriusXM satellite radio with its 229-watt audio system, which also includes a subwoofer and an audio input jack, and Honda adds a rear-view camera to the EX-L's multi-information display, which features an 8-inch screen. The standard equipment package on the Odyssey EX-L also includes power sliding doors, Bluetooth, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel with illuminated audio and cruise controls, a programmable remote entry system and power windows and door locks.

A 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6, generating 248 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque, powers the front-wheel-drive Odyssey EX. The engine features Variable Cylinder Management, which shuts down up to three cylinders when they're not needed, such as when cruising or decelerating, to conserve fuel. The engine links to a 5-speed automatic transmission and posts fuel economy numbers of 18/27 mpg. Standard safety equipment includes 6 airbags as well as Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control and antilock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist. Exterior features include a power tailgate, heated power side mirrors, a rear roofline spoiler with an integrated brakelight, and halogen headlights with auto on/off. The Odyssey EX-L rides on 17-inch wheels.
