2012 Honda Civic EX w/ Navigation Trim Overview

The 2012 Honda Civic EX sedan comes equipped with the latest version of Honda's satellite-linked navigation system with voice recognition, FM traffic and an extensive on-board database. The system is controlled through a 6.5-inch LCD color display with 16GB of flash memory, replacing the previous DVD-based system. The 6.5-inch display also incorporates Honda's new intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID), which also handles audio, Bluetooth and general vehicle information.

Standard interior features for the Civic EX with navigation include air conditioning with air filtration, power windows and door locks, Bluetooth, a one-touch power moonroof with a tilt feature and a fold-down center armrest for the second row. In addition, the 6-speaker, 160-watt audio system comes equipped with XM satellite radio as well as an MP3/CD player and speed-sensitive volume. Other standard features include remote keyless entry, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel and steering-wheel-mounted controls. Front and rear side-curtain airbags and front-side airbags, as well as dual-stage front airbags, are among the safety features. Outside, folding power mirrors and auto-off headlights are included with the standard package.

Power comes from a 1.8-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine, which links to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The powerplant produces 140 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque and posts fuel economy numbers of 28/39 mpg. Vehicle stability control, traction control, antilock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist all come standard.
