A convertible M3 means you get the power of a 4.0-liter V8 coupled with a power-retractable hardtop ready to offer open-air motoring with a touch. The 2012 BMW M3 Convertible comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, limited-slip differential and a performance suspension. There’s traction and stability control, upgraded 4-wheel antilock disc brakes and 18-inch alloy wheels. 10-way power adjustable front bucket seats get leather upholstery, and dual-zone automatic climate controls handle what the drop-top can’t. A leather-wrapped tilt and telescoping steering wheel has controls for the hi-definition radio, which comes with a digital-media player connection, and a memory system handles the driver’s seat and the heated power mirrors.
