2012 Acura TSX Base w/ Tech Pkg Trim Overview

The 2012 Acura TSX Base sedan with the Techonology Package comes equipped with a number of upscale features not found on the TSX Base trim, including a navigation system with a rear-view camera and voice recognition, and an Acura/ELS 10-speaker, 460-watt Surround Sound audio system with a 15GB hard disc drive and SiriusXM satellite radio. The TSX Base with the Technology Package also includes a GPS-linked, solar-sensing climate control system. Perforated leather upholstery comes standard throughout the cabin. Dual-level heated front seats feature 8-way power adjustment for the driver and 4-way power adjustment for the passenger, while the leather-wrapped steering wheel includes audio, cruise and Bluetooth controls. A power moonroof, remote keyless entry, 6 airbags and power windows and door locks are among the other standard features.

Power for the front-wheel-drive TSX Base comes from a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, which produces 201 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. When paired with a 5-speed Sequential SportShift automatic, which comes standard, the engine posts fuel economy numbers of 21/31 mpg. The automatic includes steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters for fingertip manual shifting, and an S mode for higher revving. Owners can opt for an available 6-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter, which drops fuel economy numbers to 21/29 mpg.
