I Did Better With The Lexus Comfort — Not comfortable for long ride for sure meaning 4hrs or better but great on gas mine was a lease so that made things easy and gave me more of a idea on what to look for in a great ride

Pros

This has been an excellent car. We have had room for our kids and their friends and it still has tons of storage for groceries, luggage, or anything else needed. The gas mileage is perfect we average around 26-28 miles per gallon. It has been one of the best vehicles we have had. For a 4 cylinder engine it has great power, half the time I would forget it was a 4 cylinder and think it was a V6. Maintenance is very fair priced. We just bought tires for it that are off road rated and very good but they were under $600 for all 4. I hate to sell it but I am going to school and we are trying to lessen our payments.

Cons

I really don't have any cons that are horrible. The 3rd row is awesome for smaller kids maybe up to age 12. If you are 5' or more it may be a little crunched back there.

Awesome Family Car! — The only thing it has been in the shop for is routine maintenance. I have recommended this car to several friends and family. Its safe, comfortable, and affordable. The way it handles is amazing. I hate driving in rain in snow but the Rav handles so well I was never worried.

Pros

Can't believe Toyota dropped this wonderful V6 engine.
Great acceleration, strong passing, yet very good fuel mileage for an AWD vehicle.
Plenty space in the front and rear passenger seats - especially rear seat leg room.
Also good towing capacity.

Cons

Driver compartment details weakly engineered: Dumb cup holders,
Glove compartment slow to open - especially when freezing temps.,
Bad location for cell phone connect button - turns on in tight turns and u-turns frequently,
Swing away rear door & spare tire on door cured in 2013, but not with a V6 anymore.
Limited tire selection for mud & snow applications and the all seasons on it just don't hack it in wet and icy snow.

Excellent, Versatile, Fun, Powerful, And Efficient Passenger And Stuff Pod — So many things about this car put it in the top 5 of the 30-something vehicles I have owned. Acceleration and fuel economy are both excellent for an AWD sport ute with the carrying and towing capacity that the RAV4 (pre-2013) has. I bought this one slightly used with about 22,000 miles and took what was available. Had I been able to design my own, I'd like a Sport without the spare tire on the back door, but otherwise with the Limited's leather and other features. Don't need the hi-powered JBL sound system with the huge sub-woofer that it came with but did have to add a hitch and trailer wiring. Wish there was a better tire selection for winter tires on the 17" rims for Minnesota winter, and the traction control stinks when it causes understeer (the front end pushes out) in an icy skid. But with the acceleration, fuel economy, and comfortable passenger room; now my wife wants one too.
