2011 Saab 9-3 Base Convertible Review
ProsRare Java Metallic and the last SAAB since the brand has vanished. This car is a cruiser. I opted for a base model with the standard rims and tires since my previous 9-3 AERO had a punishing ride. The leather and the seats are the best in the business. Performance is a bit slower than my AERO but still has the turbo thrust when needed. Visibility is decent for a convertible. ConsThe backseat is completely useless. I have read for a convertible, this model has more space but unless you have a toddler, this is a single or couples only car. I also was miffed to see that they did not clearcoat the underside of the trunk lid. In addition, the car retains the door handles and floor mats of 2007 and prior. Probably a GM cost cutting measure. The ride is jiggly even for a convertible.

An All Around Good Cruiser For Worry Free Motoring — I traded my 2010 AERO Sportcombi in on Coco due to the demise of SAAB and wanting to fulfill my dream of a SAAB convertible. All in all she has performed well and is stylish and roomy for two passengers. This is my third SAAB of the current 9-3 breed and expect the same bullet proof reliability and good gas mileage of the previous stable.
