Pros

Awesome handling.  The sound of the engine.  My daily driver (very short commute) and has been very reliable. Weekends are great on country roads with the top down.  Surprisingly, with the front and back trunks, the cargo capacity is not bad.  And, I can fit my golf clubs in the back.

Cons

Well, the obvious, no back seat.

Fun To Drive! — The Boxster is a great roadster for the weekend but can also be a reliable daily driver. Although the base stereo is not great, I prefer to listen to that classic Porsche engine sound. I love a manual transmission but this PDK double clutch automatic is awesome... the shifting is perfect and you can focus on the road not pushing a clutch.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros

Attracts a lot of attention and handles exceptionally well, especially on turns.

Cons

The large number of electronic gadgets, most of which I don't use, drain the battery, so I have to keep it on a charger

Attention-getting Set Of Wheels — Everywhere I take this car, people stare at it. Frequently, they say something to me, and we can start a conversation. I love the way it handles on curves; one of the Porsche standout features is how it sits down when you go into a curve. I find it a nuisance to keep a charger on it, but that's necessary because all the electronics (most of which I don't use) drain the battery.

Pros

6 cylinder mid-boxerengine roadster, with soft drop top.. I don't think it will get any better for that kind of money

Cons

Nothing so far..

Can't Think Of A Better Way To Travel These Days- Come Rain, Come Shine! — Review will be added later after the first months of driving.... Now had the Boxster for a month and all the skeptics have been proven wrong. This is such a good drive and the handling is spot on. Engine is extremely flexible and the PDK is just so refined and fast. Rood down and it is the right thing. Can't think of a better two seater sports car- bar an Aston V8 Roadster, but then price is somewhat different as well.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great Looking Car, Fun To Drive By Mchopra

Love This Car - But Just A Little Bit Less Than My Old '92 911 By Boxsters911

it's amazing that you can buy a car with 20,000 miles, for less than $20,000 when it cost almost 3 times that much new. The S is definitely worth the extra cost, and the 2000 and up models are better ... Read More
