2011 Nissan Murano S Trim Overview

Take a Nissan Altima and turn it into an SUV, and you’ve got the 2011 Nissan Murano. The base trim is labeled the S and starts with a 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. With 18-inch alloy wheels it avoids the tiny steel pizza cutters so many base trims get saddled with. Inside you’ll find cloth upholstery covering front buckets and a split-folding rear seat. None are power, but the driver gets lumbar adjustment as well as a tilt and telescoping steering wheel. There’s air conditioning with dual-zone automatic climate controls, cruise control and a full power package including windows, mirrors, doors and remote-keyless access, entry and start. The stereo is no base unit, either: a 6-CD changer and MP3 player that comes with a digital-media player connection. Safety is handled by traction and stability control, six standard airbags, 4-wheel antilock discs with brake assist and front-seat active head restraints.
