Pros

Every modification I've made to it from the lift and tires to the armor keeping it solid.

Cons

Fuel economy is the downside to having a vehicle that can literally go anywhere you point it.

Go Anywhere Escape Plan. — I wish there was a few more inches behind the front seats. The overall vehicle has improved greatly over the previous body style but the 3.8 is the worst motor ever. The ride and handling is amazing after all the mods. Wish I could hold on to this one.

Pros

I love my jeep. This is my second jeep after my 1990 Wrangler with the  Islander Package. I commute over 100 miles round trip a day. The roads aren't great in the winter or when there is a lot of rain. This has been reliable and safe and compared to the older Wrangler (1990) the 2011 drives like a charm. I compare the drive to driving my 1993 Chevy Blazer.

Cons

As with any jeep wrangler with a soft top, the jeep is louder than most cars. It also doesn't have a particularly smooth ride. The gas mileage is decent at 20 miles per gallon.

It's A Jeep — Compared to the older jeeps, the 2011 is much smoother and has more power and speed. The 2011 allows you to set your speed at 65 on highways the jeep is able to maintain the speed without driving up the RPMs. It also is quieter than the older jeep. I am able to use it to commute everyday. With the 1990, I wouldn't have been able to do that. All in all, the 2011 wrangler is a jeep I would recommend to anyone looking into off roading with a vehicle you would use for everyday driving.

Unique Extreme Off Road Ready Jeep Wrangler Unlimtied — This Jeep is a great vehicle for your everyday commute to work or fun off roading in dirt, mud, sand, or water. It's unique paint job (rhino lined) makes it impervious to scratches, scrapes, and some hail when out in the elements. The after market GPS Navigation/CD/DVD/ Bluetooth iOS ready system put it allows for a luxury feel as well.

Great Jeep! — If you are looking for a fun, cool jeep than this is the one. The roof comes off, the doors come off, and it is just a fun jeep to cruise around in. The black on black make it look really sharp.

Classic Vehicle Worth Considering. I Have Now Had 3 Jk Style Jeeps. — On the same weekend I purchased 2 identical Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicons. One Silver and one Green. Literally the serial numbers were one digit apart. My wife drove the green one and I took the silver. The revised 2011 interior impressed me greatly. I was driving a 2008 Sahara and the interior alone made me sell it and buy the updated interior of the 2011+. The interior provides creature comforts we as a society have come to enjoy. Power Windows, Steering wheel mounted controls, Navigation, heated seats, leather, and even remote start. The doors still come off even though they have power windows (It has a quick release plug). Aside from the great interior, the road noise never bothered me until I bought my next car (2012 Honda Ridgeline). On my was home my daughter and I were like "WOW", we can actually talk and hear each other. I had no idea the road noise was so pronounced until I was in a different vehicle. I still don't find it unacceptable, I took it on several long road trips with no complaints. Cost of ownership is cheap too. I regularly could find $10-$20 factory dealership oil changes! Out of the 3 JK Jeeps I have owned only one had a leaky top I never did get corrected. Overall, I will probably buy another Jeep and would recommend the 2012 or newer models simply due to the updated transmission and better fuel economy.

Everyone Should Own A Wrangler At Least Once. — I can not say it enough positives about the jeep. I loved this truck. Look for packages when buying. You definitely get much more bang for your buck. Loved the dual top option. You can really trick these trucks out.

My Go-anywhere Steed — This is my first "new" car ever. I am impressed by it's off-road prowess and readiness for road trips. When washed and detailed, it's gloss black urbane facade belies it's yearning for it's element. The fact that it's a convertible just ups the ante all that much more. This isn't an "SUV". This is a Jeep from an era when SUVs did not exist. If you can handle it, it will take to places most SUVs can't...with a smile on your face. Bring the sunblock.
