Overview of 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour EX-L w/ Navigation By Eric Tallberg
As the flagship trim of the lineup, it’s only fitting that the 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour EX-L should be delivered with a standard voice-activated navigation system. Thereby, this 4-door, 5-passenger hatchback/crossover becomes the EX-L w/ Navigation. And, while the navigation system is accompanied by a rear-view camera system, that’s far from the only thing that makes the “L” signify Luxury. Leather upholstery, heated, power-adjustable front seats and leather and simulated alloy cabin accents are complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels and a power sunroof to contribute to a feeling of posh. Additionally, the EX-L w/ Navigation boasts standard cruise control, remote power door locks, power windows and heated outside mirrors, telescoping tilt-wheel steering, dual-zone climate control and a universal remote garage door opener. Techno-goodies, meanwhile, include a standard 360-watt audio system with 6-CD changer, seven speakers, satellite radio and a USB connection. All this is topped off by standard Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and phone pre-wiring. Believe it or not, there are options, all dealer-installed, that include underbody spoilers, a roof rack, upgraded 18-inch wheels, backup sensors and remote engine start.
A standard 3.5-liter V6 engine powers the 2011 Accord Crosstour EX-L w/ Navigation. Mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission, the six-banger throws out 271 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque, good to tow 1,500 pounds with the optional towing package installed. Mileage, meantime, is estimated at 18 mpg city/27 highway in this front-wheel-drive-only (FWD) trim.
Standard safety features for the 2011 Accord Crosstour EX-L w/ Navigation include, besides the traditional 4-wheel antilock brakes (ABS), traction and stability control, front side-mounted airbags, front and rear head airbags and front head-restraint whiplash protection. Daytime running lights, front fog/driving lights and a remote antitheft alarm are also among the standard safety equipment in this high-end Crosstour trim.
This overview covers the EX-L w/ Navigation trim only.
