Pros

This vehicle has a very comfortable ride and the interior layout maximizes cargo space or passenger hauling abilities very well.

Cons

Gas mileage has not been up to the window sticker.  Interior is a little plasticky.

Smooth Riding Vehicle With Plenty Of Room For Your Friends And Your Stuff. — We have had the Acadia for about 9 months and we have put about 17M miles on it. It is my wife's daily driver and I drive it occasionally. I have been very impressed with the way it drives. It is smooth and handles pretty well for such a big vehicle. The turning radius really makes you think it is a smaller vehicle and it is very easy to get in and out of tight parking lots. The added rear sensors and back up camera also help. I drove the vehicle for 12 hours one day and didn't have any problems with comfort. We had the seat heaters added and they are very nice and get nice and toasty. The engine is up to the task and can move this vehicle well enough in pretty much any situation you find yourself in. The cruise control leaves a bit to be desired as it does not do a good job of maintaining speed up and down hills. This can get you in trouble if you set it on the higher end and then are heading down a hill; you will be speeding pretty well by the bottom of that hill.

Pros

The ammenaties, and the entertainment system is state of the art!

Cons

The paint apparently..  I purchased the "protective" coating for the paint a purchase time, and 6 months later, had places on the hood and roof where bird crap had eatin the paint off clear down to the metal.  Wash the vehicle at minimum, every two weeks..  Coating company did repaint the hood and roof..

2011 Gmc Acadia — Great looking car, with lots of room. Was an excellant upgrade to our Envoy.. Perfoms great, has great accelaration, and very stable with a smooth ride. Cost is a little pricey for even the base models, but 0% for 60 made it worth the purchase..

Still A Nice Unit If You Can Afford The Rising Cost Of Fuel. — Solidly built vehicle, lots of zip, nice handling, beautiful appearance outside, could use a bit more refinement on the inside, to similar to the regular Acadia in style except for the wood grain. Mileage could be a bit better but not to bad.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Great Ride — This is one of the best SUVs I've ever driven. I've only driven it through renting it at Hertz. The performance is great. Build quality is perfect since it's a rental. I love the appearance. Gas mileage isn't bad. It's definitely fun to drive. The times I've rented it, it's had XM Satellite radio. Great for when you're going out of state and don't feel like shuffling through the stations to find the one you like. I can't really rate maintenance because I don't own one. Pricing rating is based on what I've seen online.

The Family Acadia — This car has gone above and beyond my expectations. After several months of searching for just the right vehicle to handle the needs of a growing family, we decided that the Acadia was the perfect fit. Have never looked back at the purchase and regretted it.
