Pros

I love this style Escape. My main reason for buying this was for shuttling the kids to different activities. The interior is very nice.

Cons

No backup camera or sensor. The pickup power for a V6 could be much better. I feel like it's a 4-cylinder car.

Nice And Comfortable — I'm not happy with the lackluster engine. It just feels like Ford dropped the ball in that area. And no backup sensor/camera. But overall it's a decent vehicle for travelling or driving locally. It's a good, reliable family car.

Ford Escape — After extensive use this vehicle has grown on our family. My original assessment was not exactly positive, but after cleaning the intake manifold, throttle body and fuel injectors, the vehicle drives like new. It appears that the dealer just took the vehicle in on trade, and put it right out on the lot. Would probably not buy again, but that is not a reflection of the vehicle.

Pros

Sporty looking, very comfortable bucket front seats, roomy back seats with plenty of head room. Gorgeous interior that is like brand new. Exterior body is immaculate. I get very good gas mileage for this model and I drive both slow country roads and highway miles and I range 24-26 mpg on every tank of gas. Clean car fax report, no accidents. Very comfortable and quiet ride.

Cons

Only one tiny scratch on exterior passenger side handle of door.

This Car Is Excellent In All Aspects. — I loved driving this car very much. It is roomy and drives very smoothly and is very quiet. It has been well maintained and has never had to have any repairs done to it. Great sporty family car to own.

Pros

A great family car. Lots of ways to turn in into whatever you need with excellent aftermarket support.

Cons

Not the smoothest ride out there, but it's an SUV, not a luxury car.

A Great Small-sized Suv, You See Them Everywhere, And Now I Know Why. — This is by far the most popular car I have seen on the road. You can't go anywhere without seeing one. I hate what they did to the current gen, making it a Focus, and decreasing the amount of power. Second gen (2008-2012) is the best. They've been a Consumer's Report best buy since they came out. Cloth seats are a little hard, but they are many companies making seat covers for them due to their popularity. Get the 3.0L V-6, 240 horsepower in something this size makes for a fun cruiser, and you can get 27 MPG!

Liked the looks...beefy, yet very comfortable and "clean" lines.

Cons

The keypad on the doors may be functional, but a little distracting from the looks.

Good Value, Reliable. — The 4WD version of this Ford Escape handled great in the snow...glad to have it during this past winter of 2013/2014. Seems roomier than other SUVs of this class, and the seats are more comfortable. The ride is smooth for a 4WD SUV.

I Like It More Than I Thought I Would . — I love my 2011 Ford Escape XLT. Its fun to drive. Handles nice. I got what is called sport package I think cuz it has the running boards on the side and a spoiler in the front. Running boards make it so much easier to get in and out. The Sync system is a + as well.

Buy One Before The Redesign Which Is Ugly. — My 2011 Ford Escape has a 2.5 4 cyl engine. I like the Suv very much 25MPG in town a lot of pep for a 4 CYL. It steers very well handles great. Mine is red my wife loves this SUV. I had a 2003 Ford Expedition 5.4 V8 and the Escape is more fun to drive.
